Shiploose Coordinator

The Shiploose Estimator works with the Engineering and Operations teams to estimate the shiploose materials required for each project, inventory and accumulate them, and loads them into the finished modular units. To be successful in this role, an individual must be able to read and understand complex architectural drawings, estimate all types of residential construction materials, and clearly and effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Estimate shiploose requirements for projects; creating accurate and timely documentation
Accumulate and inventory shiploose products
Load shiploose products into finished modular units taking care not to damage finished surfaces
Secure shiploose materials for transportation
Document and archive shiploose completeness and accuracy for quality control
Create a document identifying locations of critical items and communicate it to customers and field personnel
Produce and provide material shortage lists to Production, Purchasing, and Service

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

Able to read and interpret prints and construction specification sheets
Knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods and building materials
Proficient with Microsoft Suite
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain a certification)
Ability to lead a team of employees in fulfilling shiploose requirements
Self-directed, able to prioritize multiple projects
Follow established safety rules/regulations, maintain a safe and clean work area
Follow established employee policy handbook
